A Play with Aperture

The first things I did when I got my camera was to play with the aperture. I have an canon EOS 1500D.

For both the pictures I particularly used the aperture priority mode.

The first picture has an aperture of f/4.5

As my camera's lens was pulled back to wide, my lowest aperture was f/4.5

The second picture has an aperture of f/3.5

As my camera's lens was in zoom the lowest aperture was f/3.5

I was trying to focus on different thing in each of these pictures.

In the first, I tried to focus on a larger area and capture an object. While trying to keep the focus on the rain drops and not on the object behind.

In the second picture I wanted to focus on a small object by keeping my lens in zoom, I did not want the scene behind to be in focus instead I wanted the focus to be on the rain drops.
